About EtonHouse

EtonHouse believes that children should take ownership of their learning. When children are happy and engaged, learning happens naturally and spontaneously. Open-mindedness, critical thinking skills, and a life-long love for learning are just as essential as acquiring knowledge.
This thinking was the motivation behind our inquiry-based pedagogy that revolutionised the early years approach over 30 years ago. Today, we continue to be a leader in education, providing a through-train K-12 education pathway from Pre-School to High School in Bangkok, Singapore and in 5 other countries.
The EtonHouse Group is headquartered in Singapore with more than 100 schools in 8 countries, including 8 International Baccalaureate (IB) schools. The EtonHouse Group also runs Middleton International School Bangkok and E-Bridge Pre-School, Singapore government’s Anchor Operator (AOP) Scheme that operates affordable Pre-Schools in Singapore.

Our Environment

We believe that the environment acts as the third teacher. More than a physical space, it reflects our educational philosophy, shapes how learning takes place and communicates how deeply we respect every child.
When documentation is presented at a child’s eye level and children’s ideas and work are displayed with care, it sends a powerful message: children are valued, their thinking matters and they are at the centre of the learning process.
Our environments are an active part of the learning experience, intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, exploration and collaboration. Materials and provocations invite questions, conversations and discovery, while flexible spaces allow children to learn independently and alongside others.
As a School of the Future, our Bangkok campus is designed for the world our children will grow up in. Purpose-built ateliers, makerspaces and studios give students opportunities to explore ideas, work across disciplines and bring their thinking to life. Grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach, these environments support each child’s growing autonomy, taking them from guided inquiry towards independent creation.
