FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What educational pathway does EtonHouse Bangkok offer?
EtonHouse Bangkok offers Early Years and Primary education for children aged 2 to 11.
Our Early Years programme from Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 1 follows EtonHouse’s Inquire. Think. Learn. curriculum within a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment. The Primary Years programme spans Years 1 to 6 and follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
Can my child remain at EtonHouse Bangkok through secondary school?
EtonHouse Bangkok currently offers Early Years and Primary education. After Year 6, families can explore secondary and Sixth Form options at other EtonHouse schools.
Available curricula and qualifications vary by campus. Progression is subject to the receiving school’s admissions requirements and availability.
How are the Early Years and Primary curricula connected?
The curricula were developed using a backward design approach. Learning expectations across both stages were considered together so that knowledge, skills and learning dispositions develop progressively. This alignment helps children move from the play and inquiry of the Early Years into the greater academic depth and independence of the IB PYP.
Can my child transfer to another EtonHouse school?
Families can apply to another EtonHouse school if they relocate or wish to continue into a programme not offered in Bangkok. Transfers and future enrolment remain subject to the receiving school’s admissions criteria, available places and programme requirements.
Where have EtonHouse graduates progressed after school?
Across the wider EtonHouse network, graduates have received university offers in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Destinations include but not limited to Imperial College London, University College London, the London School of Economics, the University of Toronto, the University of Melbourne, Nanyang Technological University and the University of Tokyo.
How does the pathway prepare children for the future?
Children develop strong academic foundations alongside creativity, agency, communication and the ability to collaborate. Through EtonAspire, global learning and real-world experiences, students learn to apply knowledge, work with others and contribute with purpose.
Can families discuss long-term pathway planning before applying?
Yes. Our Admissions Team can explain the journey offered at EtonHouse International School Bangkok and help families understand future schooling options available across the wider EtonHouse network.
