EtonHouse Global Classroom

Connecting Learning Across Boundaries

Established in 2022, the EtonHouse Global Classroom connects more than 100 schools across our international network, enabling students and educators to learn together across borders.
Imagine your child in Bangkok becoming friends in Singapore or Saudi Arabia, discovering similarities in their morning routines and working together on a question that matters to their communities. They exchange stories, compare perspectives and use their hundred languages to share what they know and imagine.
The result is more than international exposure. Children experience a genuine sense of belonging to a larger community of learners.
Educators learn alongside them. Teachers exchange observations, pedagogical thinking and professional practice across campuses, strengthening the shared philosophy that connects EtonHouse schools worldwide.
These relationships develop through shared inquiries, classroom exchanges and collaborative projects. Children learn to listen closely, take pride in their own culture and become curious about how others experience the world.

Why Global Classroom?

Every collaboration helps children recognise that they are part of a wider world while giving them the confidence to contribute their own ideas, stories and perspectives.

Relationships and Belonging

Children build genuine connections with peers in other countries. Over time, they become friends and campuses become part of a shared community.

Lived International-Mindedness

International-mindedness develops through direct experience. Children encounter different cultures while recognising the curiosity, kindness and play that connect them.

Deeper Inquiry

Questions become richer when children explore them from different locations. Each class contributes its own observations, creating new directions for everyone’s learning.

The Hundred Languages

Children share their thinking through conversation, art, construction, music, movement and digital media. These many forms of expression allow ideas to travel beyond language and geography.

Learning Beyond One Campus

Classroom collaborations can grow into mentorship, cultural immersion and international exchange, allowing children to experience another community and culture more deeply.

A Shared Professional Learning

Global Classroom brings educators together as researchers and learners. Teachers exchange observations, reflect on children’s thinking and develop richer learning experiences across campuses.

Global Classroom in Action

Past Global Classroom projects show how a shared question can create meaningful connections between children, educators and communities across the world.

A Journey in Time: Singapore and Suzhou

Children and educators from EtonHouse International Pre-School Claymore in Singapore and EtonHouse International School Suzhou in China explored the concept of time through the histories and changing landscapes of their cities.
Singapore’s modern cityscape and Suzhou’s historic bridges gave children contrasting perspectives on the past and present. Together, they imagined how both cities might evolve in the future.

Park Atelier: Singapore and Italy

The first Global Classroom collaboration connected EtonHouse International School in Singapore with the Salvador Allende Infant-Toddler Centre and Pre-School in Italy.
Inspired by a shared interest in outdoor environments, children explored the possibilities within their surroundings and discovered how ideas could travel between two different communities.

What started as an idea to link classrooms across borders for shared experiences, has become a living practice of international mindedness. Global Classroom has, in many ways, become a shared professional studio for us—one where children and teachers are learning side by side to see, to listen, and to present their work to the world with intentionality, care and joy.
